Zombie

Inspired by some old trees on a hike... the color contrast between the white/ almost silver bark with the reds and yellows... made me think of rotten flesh. I wanted to make a piece incorporating those tree textures creating an "undead " portrait that remains classy and textural... does that even make sense? oh well , I think I achieved my vision. For this piece, I started with white and dark charcoal then painted digitally in photoshop and corel painter.
